the only reason i think Shinichi survived that concert was because Ran must have been working on that cosplay for a little while and showed it off to Conan at various stages of development. because dude seriously would have passed the hell out if she had JUST put it on for the first time that day. therefore, he probably built up a little bit of immunity to 'that' version of his wife's charms. ;>

also, he's probably still got a little immunity left after the last onsen incident, where Ran gave him a 100% full-frontal 'towel accident'. the lil dude almost DIED of nose-blood-loss and braining himself on the ground passing out. :D

seriously, if my waifu went full-monty, or sexy bikini, or Risa Purple cosplay? i'd turn into one of those classic anime 'man loses mind, turns into lust monster, mauls GF'. that lil dude has some EPIC level self-control! :D

well, considering this is an anime original two parter, and she's a superheroine most times situations like this happen... the screenwriters have to 'yet again nerf Ran' into her 'help me! i'm a poor widdle girl!' mode. because if they didn't nerf her, there would be two half-dead kidnappers right there and nothing else would happen in these two episodes. the screenwriters would have to write some other schlocky half-baked story up to replace the part two they were thinking of making in the first place.

What makes it even more funny is that they gave her that little badass scene in the opening just to be humiliated like that soon after.

Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story PART NONE! :( to the best of my knowledge the ENTIRE MPDLS 'named' series is over and done with. :( waugh! i loved that part of Conan! well, we do have one interesting bit though! Chiba! our fave chubby detective! Takagi got himself a solo episode last season, now it is Chiba's turn, and he gets TWO episodes! 847,48. woo hooo! 827, 28 TWO count em TWO police romance pairings in those episodes! TakaTou and ShuuYumi! although Shuuichi only makes a few short appearances. there's a naughty naughty easter egg about TakaTou if you pay attention! :> -EDIT- OH I MISSED THIS PAIR! 849, 50 ShuuYumi again? hmm! :>

13 one parters. i took the movie tie-in episode out of this count. if you add that one back in, that is EXACTLY the same number of one parters from Season 25! :o

1 Movie Tie-in Episode. ep855 Apr. 15, 2017. that episode aired the same day as movie 21 premiered in Japanese theaters. i'm keeping this category after the previous 3 seasons had a movie tie-in TV episode.

as of ep818 we are now... EXACTLY 230 episodes away from the most recent FuniRoll sub of Conan ep1047. waugh! :(( i've got so far to go to catch up with the brand-new weekly episodes! :((
